Board of Directors

Mr. JIANG Zhongping
Executive Director and Chairman. With over 19 years of experience in the steel industry, Mr. Jiang is responsible for the overall management and strategic planning and business development of the Group. Previously, he was head of the quality control department and chief manager of the audit department at Chuan Wei. Mr. Jiang graduated from Chongqing Steel and Iron College in 1989.

Mr. LIU Feng
Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Liu, who joined the Group in 2004, is a two-decade veteran of the steel industry and responsible for the management of daily operations and operational development of China VTM. Previously, he was deputy general managers at a number of Chuan Wei's subsidiaries. Mr. Liu is a graduate of Chongqing Architecture University.

Mr. YU Xingyuan
Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Yu, who has been with China VTM since the beginning, oversees the Group's business development. Having spent 15 years in the steel industry, he served his expertise in technical development at Chuan Wei for more than 10 years. Mr. Yu graduated from Northeast Industrial Institute and has a master's degree from Chongqing University.

Non-executive Directors

Mr. WANG Jin
Mr. WANG has accumulated over 20 years of experience in steel production, raw material procurement and operations management in the steel industry. Mr. WANG is currently serving as a deputy to the 11th National People Congress, and also the director of the China Confederation of the Iron and Steel Industry, the vice-chairman of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, and the vice-chairman of the Sichuan Enterprise Confederation and Sichuan Entrepreneur Association.

Mr. TEO Cheng Kwee
Mr. TEO has over 30 years of experience in the building and construction industry. Mr. TEO is the chief executive officer and founder of Sapphire Corporation Limited, a company listed on the Singapore Exchange Limited. Mr. TEO graduated from Thomson Secondary School in Singapore.

Independent non-executive Directors

Mr. YU Haizong
Mr. YU is a professor, master and doctoral supervisor of the Accounting Faculty of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Mr. YU is also the dean of the Modern Accounting Research Institute at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Mr. YU is currently a member of audit committee and remuneration committee of Jinyu Checheng. Mr. YU received a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province in accounting, a master’s degree in economics (accounting) and a doctoral degree in management (accounting).

Mr. GU Peidong
Mr. GU was a PRC qualified lawyer and a commissioner of the Lawyer Notarization Expert Advisory Committee of the PRC Ministry of Justice, an adviser to the Science and Technology Advisory Group of Sichuan, a commissioner of the Expert Advisory Committee of the People's Procuratorate of Sichuan and an arbitrator of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Mr. GU received a bachelor’s degree in civil litigation law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing and a master’s degree in law.

Mr. LIU Yi
Mr. LIU is currently the director and chief project designer of the mining office of Sichuan Metallurgical Design and Research Institute. Mr. LIU studied at the faculty of mining resource engineering of Xi’an Metallurgy and Architecture College in Xi’an City, Shanxi and received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Xi’an Metallurgy and Architecture College in Xi’an City, Shanxi.

Mr. KONG Chi Mo
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. Previously as an audit senior manager at KPMG's Beijing Office, Mr. Kong joined the Group in 2008. Mr. Kong has many years of experience in managing audits for Hong Kong- and U.S.-listed mainland companies. Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr. Kong has also been a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Company Secretaries, the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and the Institute of Company Secretaries and Administrators.
